Hakuba Ski Jumping Stadium

This is the place where Japan team won gold medal in Nagano Olympics. The lift located between the normal hill and the large hill will take you to the start point located at 140 meters above the ground where you can share the experiece of the world class jumpers.

Tsugaike Nature Park

Highland marsh of 1900 m altitude above the clouds with close view of Hakuba mountain range. It is a flower garden of alpine plants that Mizubasho, Chinguruma, Nikko-Kisuge etc, continues to bloom one after another from the middle of June to September. Tsugaike Nature Park has a total area of 10 hectares, about 5.5 kilometers long round trail, is a trekking course that you can enjoy easily. Also, on the way of the course there is a cold wind blowing out even in summer, a murmuring of cold snow melting water like ice, and you can enjoy nature with your body.

Hakuba Daisekkei snowy valley

One of the three biggest snow valley in Japan. Hakuba Daisekkei is a flat hiking course that can be enjoyed even by families from Sarukura to Hakubajiri. There are dainty flowers such as Kinugasasou and Shimotsukesou welcome you. From Hakubajiri, it is a large snowy valley of natural cooler that spreads a perpetual snow with a width of 100 m and an altitude of 600 m. You can also enjoy summer skiing. From here you can climb Daisekkei of snowy valley and climb Hakuba-dake mountain. But, you need Eisen and a full-fledged equipment.

Happoone Nature Research Path

Take the gondola lift (Adam) and 2 lift to the 1st cairn. There is Happo Pond that makes Shirouma sanzan appear on the water surface at 2 km from here. It is a treasure trove of alpine plants in this whole area, and are blooming and competing Yukiwarisou, Watasuge, Chinguruma etc. We can climb up to Happo Pond in light clothing, but we need full climbing equipment to Karamatsudake mountain.

Iwatake mountain Nature Trail

View Natural Search Route is from the summit of Iwatake, the total length is 1.3 km.It is a outstanding view course. There are also three other natural trail Iwatake route course.

Hakuba Goryu trekking

The top of the lift is a treasure trove of alpine plants. It is an ideal for nature walks.

Ochikura Nature plants garden

Ochikura Nature plants garden is a wetland where you can admire Mizubashou and Zazensou during late April - early May.

Okususobana flower natural park

Okususobana flower natural park spreading a large gregariousness of Mizubashou called as 800,000 pieces. This flower season begins from early May to early June. The autumn leaves of the Okususobana valley are also interesting.

This is a dynamic mountain sightseeing route that penetrates the middle of the North Alps.

Three Lakes of Nishina

It is a collective name of three lakes on the north side of Shinano Omachi city.
Lake Aoki：The heart shaped Lake Aoki boasts some of the clearest waters in the prefecture. You can enjoy boating, canoeing and fishing.
Lake Nakatsuna：Mountain cherry and fishing spot. Precious species also inhabit in the water. In early May, many photographers gather to take pictures of the large mountain cherry tree’s deep pink blossoms, reflected in the lake.
Lake Kizaki：An activity sports and anime mecca. You can enjoy leisure boating, windsurfing, canoeing and bass fishing.

Togakushi Shrine

Togakushi Yama, a mysterious mountain, is known for its mountain faith Shugendo from old times, and there are five Yashiro Okusha, Chusha, Houkousha, Kuzuryusha, and Hinomikosha. Also bamboo works are thriving in this area.
